
Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) is a dedicated office set up by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) to spearhead the development of Hong Kong’s creative industries. Set up in June 2009, CreateHK co-ordinates the Government policy regarding creative industries, focuses Government’s resources catering for the promotion and speeding up of the development of creative industries in Hong Kong, and works closely with the trade to boost the development of creative industries.
CreateHK also administers the CreateSmart Initiative (CSI) which provides funding support to projects that are conducive to the development of Hong Kong’s creative industries. These projects include the In Style. Hong Kong Symposium and the market visit held in Jakarta on 17 and 18 September 2015 respectively, in which the CSI sponsors a number of Hong Kong companies from various creative sectors to participate, with a view to assisting these companies to explore new business opportunities in Indonesia and ASEAN markets.

The Department of Justice is headed by the Secretary for Justice. The Secretary for Justice is the Chief Executive’s principal legal adviser and a member of the Executive Council.
He is the representative of the HKSAR Government in all actions brought by, or against it, and is also responsible for the drafting of all government legislation.
The Secretary for Justice is responsible for all prosecutions in the HKSAR, with responsibility for deciding whether a prosecution should be instituted in any particular case, and, if so, for instituting and conducting the prosecution.
The Department of Justice provides legal advice to all government departments and bureaux. It has five law divisions, namely the Civil Division, International Law Division, Law Drafting Division, Legal Policy Division and Prosecutions Division.

The Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) was established in 1960. The objectives of the FHKI are:
Design Council of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Q-Mark Council were set up by the FHKI in 1968 and 1978 respectively to promote creative design and high quality products/services in Hong Kong.

The FSDC was established by the HKSAR Government in January 2013 in response to the financial services industry’s call for a high-level government advisory body to support the sustained development of the industry. The FSDC engages the industry and formulates proposals to promote the further development of Hong Kong’s financial services industry and map out the strategic direction for the development of Hong Kong as an international financial centre. It acts as a focal point of views and melting pot of ideas, champion and ambassador of the industry, and a capacity builder.

Initiated by the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong in 2005, the Hong Kong Brand Development Council (the BDC) is a non-profit-making institution aiming to promote Hong Kong brands, advocate innovation and creativity, and enhance exchanges and cooperation among companies in regard to branding.
Besides hosting the renowned brand awards like “Hong Kong Top Brand Awards”, “Hong Kong Top Service Brand Awards”, “Hong Kong Emerging Brand Awards” and “Hong Kong Emerging Service Brand Awards”, the Council is also the organiser of the “Hong Kong Top Brand Mark Scheme” and “Made in Hong Kong Mark Scheme”. The Council has been actively participating in various exhibitions, product showcases, and other promotional events both domestically and across the border. Furthermore, a number of training and research projects have been rolling out under the Council’s aegis.

Set up in 1995, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office is the Representative of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government to the ten member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The Office seeks to enhance mutual understanding and strengthen the bilateral, economic and socio-cultural relations between Hong Kong and the ASEAN countries. It provides information to and support corporations and individuals looking to start or expand their businesses in Hong Kong or in Mainland China via Hong Kong. The Office also establishes and maintains contacts with Hong Kong people living, working and/or studying in ASEAN countries.
The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office collaborates regularly with two Hong Kong statutory bodies – the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Hong Kong Tourism Board to promote Hong Kong as the best location for business and a must-go tourist destination in Asia.

Founded in 2002, Hong Kong Public Key Infrastructure Forum Limited (“HKPKIF”) is a nonprofit distributing industry organization established under the Companies Ordinance of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China (“HKSAR”) and having the following objectives:
To enhance public and industry awareness of the importance of public key infrastructure (“PKI”) products and services in addressing the issues of authenticity, integrity, confidentiality and non-repudiation in electronic-based communications as well as resolving issues regarding security of open network, PKI interoperability and ease of use; To promote the adoption of PKI products and services for the promotion of secure e-commerce activities both locally and globally.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is a Government-subvented body tasked with marketing and promoting Hong Kong as a travel destination worldwide. To fulfill its mission and uphold the city’s position as a world-class destination, the HKTB works closely with the Government and partners in the tourism and related industries to promote Hong Kong to visitors around the world, widen the range of tourism products and elevate service standards, as well as enhance the experiences of visitors during their stay in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association Limited (HKEIA) was established in 1980. The objectives of the HKEIA are:

Founded in 1955, The Hong Kong Exporters’ Association (HKEA) is committed to safeguarding the interests and progressing the business opportunities of its member exporters. HKEA endeavors to develop Hong Kong as a trading hub for exporters.
Since 1975, HKEA initiated and organized various trade fairs to promote Hong Kong products. In recent years, HKEA is devoted to mobilize the industry to develop original design and brands to enhance their competitiveness by organizing the “Hong Kong Smart Gifts Design Awards” and set up “DesignHK” at prominent overseas fairs to showcase to international buyers HK’s innovative, creative and quality products.
