Mr Kenneth Choy
Member of the Standing Committee on External Affairs, The Law Society of Hong Kong

Kenneth Choy has practiced law in the US and Asia for more than 25 years. His practice focuses on helping clients with intangible and IP assets with capital raising, portfolio building, IP commercialization, technology transfer, licensing, cross-border strategic alliances, and mergers and acquisitions. Over the years, he has also represented clients in cross-border dispute matters, particularly those involving technology and intangible assets and disputes among shareholders, partners and vendors.

Prior to founding Choy, Cheung & Co, he headed the IP and technology practice of the Hong Kong office of an international law firm. He had also served as General Counsel of an international toy company and was a co-founder of a technology company.

Before moving to Asia in 1999, Mr. Choy was in private practice in the US for more than a decade where he represented clients in cross-border transactions and U.S. litigation and arbitration. He is admitted to practice law in New York, California and Hong Kong and speaks regularly at international conferences and seminars.
