Ms Surangkana Wayuparb

Ms. Surangkana Wayuparb is the Director of Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) in the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, Thailand. Despite the fact that ETDA just established in 2011, she has been involved in development of information technology law for the Kingdom of Thailand such as Electronic Transaction Act, The Royal Decrees Regulation Electronic Payment Service Business and Computer Crime Act.

She is also an active President of Thailand PKI Association, Member of Thailand Information Security Association. She plays an essential role for the development of standards and laws related to e-Transactions and establishment of the monitoring systems related to security in electronic transactions. ETDA is responsible for National Project related to Standards, Security Infrastructures and Laws for example, ThaiCert, National Root CA, National Payment Message Standard.
