Mr Peter Cheung
Barrister-at-law and Arbitrator, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration

Peter Cheung, BA, LLB, PCLL, LLM, LLM Int L, is a practising Barrister, a former Director of Intellectual Property, and a former Registrar of Patents, Trade Marks & Designs, Hong Kong, China.

From 1992 to 2013, Mr Cheung represented Hong Kong in World Intellectual Property Organization conferences. As a World Trade Organization Dispute Settlement Panelist, he settled two international disputes (WT/DS174 & WT/DS290). He was the lead intellectual property negotiator of Hong Kong’s bilateral free-trade agreements with New Zealand and European Free Trade Area.

Mr Cheung is also an Arbitrator of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, and a Knowledge Transfer Committee Member of the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology Council.
